As a marketing data expert, you’ll optimize ad performance, build attribution models, ensure seamless data integration, refine customer segmentation, and enable impactful A/B testing. You'll play a key role in improving our marketing data architecture with a focus on cost efficiency, speed, and best engineering practices.

We serve these customers with a team of 40 very ambitious talents. To help Peaks fulfil its mission and growth ambitions, we are looking for a (Marketing) Data Scientist.
What You Will Be Doing
You will play a key role in driving our business growth by managing the end-to-end process of data ingestion, modeling, and publication. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining scalable data solutions, defining meaningful success metrics, and empowering non-technical team members with user-friendly, self-service analytics tools. You will have to identify and implement solution to optimize ad networks performance and boost conversion rates throughout the sales funnel.
- Ad Performance Analysis: Create dashboards and reports to measure ad effectiveness, ROAS, CAC, CAC-payback period, CLV.
- Marketing Attribution: Build models to track customer journeys across multiple channels (e.g., last-click, multi-touch attribution).
- Data Integration: Ensure marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM, etc.) receive accurate and up-to-date data through ETL/ELT pipelines. You identify improvements and spot tracking issues on app and web across all our acquisition channels.
- Customer Segmentation & Audiences: Transform raw data into structured customer profiles, enabling targeted campaigns and lookalike audiences.
- Experimentation & A/B Testing: Provide clean datasets for measuring the impact of different marketing strategies.
- Improving our architecture based on what brings the most impact to cost reduction and speed, applying software engineering best practices
- At least 5 years of engineering experience with an analytical mindset
- Solid understanding of architectures, design principles and engineering best practices
- Experience across all stages of the data pipeline: ingestion, transformations, mart creation
- In-depth technical knowledge of advertising technologies such as Appsflyer, Meta, Google & other
- Experience with our tech stack is a bonus: S3/Redshift/MySQL/Python/Go/Rust
- Knowledge of unit growth metrics
- Live in The Netherlands (Peaks is located in the heart of Amsterdam)
