Summary: Help streamline the fund operations at VanEck, where we are developing data driven and scalable automation assisting portfolio management and other departments in the daily operations that come with managing funds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Full-Stack Developer, you are an essential part of our team and will directly contribute to the further development of our internal automation tools. You will build new features, optimize performance and come up with innovative solutions. Your work is of direct assistance to the operations team and the further technological developments within VanEck. Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing scalable, reliable features, both on the front-end and the back-end
• Working directly with portfolio management to understand, streamline and automate processes.
• Integrating APIs and optimizing loading and computation times
• Working in an environment where knowledge sharing and professional growth are central

You will work with interesting technologies and frameworks, including:

• Python for developing backend applications and REST API’s
• React for developing frontend applications
• Sql Server
• Git / Jira / BitBucket as collaboration tooling
• Docker for Containerization

Experience with this stack is a plus, but not a requirement. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and gets excited about technology and innovation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• An IT-related education
• Fluency in English required; fluency in Dutch strongly preferred
• Experience with full-stack projects
• Enthusiasm for software development and a drive to learn and grow
• Ability to translate high/medium level requirements into useful implementation
• Accurate and structured working method
• Understanding of clean code and software architecture
• You enjoy working in a small team with short lines of communication
• Interest in fintech and building innovative investment solutions
• Some flexibility in work times
