Freelance Network Engineer

Location: Amsterdam (On-site, 4–5 days per week)

Contract Type: Freelance, 40 hours per week (12-month contract with potential extension)

Start Date: January 2026

Rate: €100–€135 per hour

Based in Amsterdam, you’ll take ownership of high-performance network environments that power demanding, time-critical applications. You’ll solve real problems at scale, shape how global systems run and have the freedom to push for smarter and cleaner operations.

What You Will Do:

• Be the go-to expert keeping global network platforms fast and predictable.
• Hunt down bottlenecks, latency issues, and reliability gaps - and fix them with precision.
• Lead upgrades, improvements, and configuration changes that keep systems ahead of demand.
• Influence capacity strategy, traffic flow design, and incident handling.
• Automate repetitive tasks and help evolve a streamlined, modern operational toolkit.
