Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer (C++, Python and Shell) to develop, maintain, and improve core application components, primarily in C++. The role requires independent work management through JIRA, source control management, production of high-quality and well-tested code, and close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical tasks and release plans.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Develop, maintain, and improve core application components, primarily in C++.
  
• Work independently and organise work using JIRA.
  
• Manage source control and ensure delivery of high-quality, well-tested code.
  
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  
• Translate business needs into clear technical tasks and release plans.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

Experience:

• Several years of experience with C++.
  
• Strong experience in scripting with Python and Shell.
  
• Proficiency with source control tools such as Git.
  
• Experience with JIRA and task management.
  
• Ability to translate business needs into technical tasks.
  
• Solid application management and workflow ownership.
  
• Commitment to clean code, testing, and stable releases.
  

Interpersonal skills:

• Strong communication skills.
  
• Disciplined development practices.
  

Languages:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
