Position overview

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team for an exciting new project in collaboration with one of our clients. You will play a decisive role in driving the design, development, and implementation of advanced IT solutions (including hardware, software, and networks).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the global network;
• Global role and will work on different projects;
• Lead the design of advanced IT security architectures (hardware, software, and networks);
• Focus on improving the overall security posture of our data and network infrastructure;
• Ensure the protection and integrity of the firm's intellectual assets and proprietary information;

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role;
• Proven skills utilizing Python and Bash;
• Experience working with Automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python Scripting, DevOps) & Orchestration tools such as ADO Pipelines, Ansible, Git and/or Terraform, knowledge of devops;
• Working understanding of the following areas: IP Networking Protocols, VPN, Firewalls and DNS;
• Working knowledge of scripting, firewalls, IDS, IPS, WAF and networking;
• Experience implementing network security solutions;
• Experience working with one or more Cloud Service Provider - Azure or AWS preferred;
• Ability to work with and interact with various API content;
• Understanding of how to design and build security technology solutions aligned to a global centralized service environment;
• Understanding of security technology at an enterprise solution level;
• Experience engaging business and technology stakeholders at all levels to gather long term goals and requirements;
• Experience driving the implementation and adoption of technology across large scale organizations;

Nice to have skills:

• Working knowledge of PaloAlto Next Generation Firewalls;
• Self-motivated and quick learner;
• Experience working in a complex, global organization;
