We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for a minimum six-month engagement during a pivotal period of executive transition. This is a high-impact role where you will ensure operational stability, strengthen collaboration between IT and product teams, and drive the execution of the company’s SaaS strategies in the pharma sector. The ideal consultant will have a strong track record in senior technical leadership within large-scale organisations, with experience in SaaS products and pharmaceutical or life sciences environments, and the ability to engage and align executive teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical organisation, ensuring efficiency and collaboration.
  • Enhance cooperation and integration between technical and product teams.
  • Serve as a senior leader guiding the executive team and board through organizational change.
  • Support the execution of SaaS product strategies with effective technical solutions, particularly in the pharma sector.
  • Manage international teams across multiple time zones.
  • Travel as required to meet role objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior technical leader in large-scale organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience with SaaS product development and delivery, ideally in pharma or life sciences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and align executives and managers.
  • Based in the EU with immediate availability.
  • Experience leading international, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
