We are looking for a talented Service Support Engineer to join our Product Information Management (PIM) Service Team. This role is centered around supporting and maintaining a newly deployed Inriver-based PIM platform and its integrated data ecosystem on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Support & Maintenance

  • Provide L2/L3 support for the Inriver PIM platform, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.
  • Handle incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and manage problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with Inriver vendor teams and internal development groups for escalations.

2. Data Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor and manage data synchronization across Inriver, Azure, and downstream systems.
  • Troubleshoot data pipelines, APIs, and connectors.
  • Conduct regular system health checks, validations, and batch job monitoring.

3. Azure Data Management

  • Work with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, and related services for ingestion, transformation, and data flow operations.
  • Develop or maintain automation scripts/tools for recurring operational tasks.

4. Change & Release Management

  • Support system configuration updates, deployments, and release testing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical and operational documentation.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify performance or process inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Contribute to knowledge base content and internal best-practice enhancements.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in application/system support, preferably in product data or PIM environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Inriver PIM, including data models, workflows, and integrations.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services—Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Azure Functions.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, data exchange mechanisms, and multi-system integrations.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and DevOps tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate technical topics clearly.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with data modeling, ETL, or product master data management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems.
  • Exposure to Power BI or analytics/monitoring tools.
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, SQL).
  • Experience with Scrum, Confluence, or Jira workflows.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • Certifications in Inriver or Microsoft Azure are a strong plus.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Proactive, service-oriented, and structured working style.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
