Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Location: Remote within Canada

Employment: Full-time, permanent

Company: GeneLean360° — the first physician-led, genetics-based weight loss platform

Here is your opportunity to architect the intelligence backbone of the world’s first physician-powered genetic weight loss platform.

About GeneLean360°

GeneLean360° is the first physician-led, genetics-based weight loss platform built for women over 30.

We have generated multi-million-dollar revenue in under twelve months by replacing guesswork with genetic precision. We serve hundreds of clients using our proprietary 12 Genetic Avatars™ framework, delivering exceptional transformation and retention.

Now we are evolving into an AI-driven SaaS company and need a systems builder who can connect our data, intelligence, and automation into one living platform.

Our mission: transform women’s health through genomics.

Your mission: turn our data and science into a scalable AI engine that learns, automates, and personalizes at scale.

Your Mission

Design the brain of GeneLean360°. You will own the full stack of applied intelligence, from data ingestion to machine learning models to automation workflows. Your work will ensure our genetic insights flow seamlessly into real-time recommendations, supplement protocols, and coaching dashboards.

You will work directly with the CEO to build, test, and scale the technology foundation that will power our SaaS platform and practitioner licensing model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and train ML models that interpret genomic, metabolic, and behavioral data to generate personalized health recommendations
  • Architect secure, compliant data pipelines (AWS, GCP, or Azure) integrating genetics APIs, wearable data, and client behavior streams
  • Develop and deploy AI workflows using n8n, LangChain, or FastAPI, connecting models to marketing, fulfillment, and coaching systems
  • Create dynamic personalization engines that adapt supplement, meal, and lifestyle plans based on client progress
  • Integrate LLM-powered features (AI coach, automated summaries, adaptive insights) into client and practitioner dashboards
  • Implement model versioning and monitoring frameworks (MLflow or DVC) for transparency and scalability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical architecture
  • Write clean, well-documented, scalable code with long-term compliance in mind

You’ll Thrive Here If You…
  • Have 2+ years of experience in AI, ML engineering, data science, or automation architecture
  • Are fluent in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, SQL, and orchestration tools like n8n, Airflow, or Dagster
  • Can design APIs that connect models to real-world applications
  • Have hands-on experience deploying AI models securely in production environments
  • Are comfortable balancing rapid prototyping with strong privacy discipline (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR)
  • Think like a systems architect and communicate with clarity
  • Believe in GeneLean360°’s mission to redefine women’s health through science and technology

Bonus: Experience with genomics datasets, nutrition or health personalization engines, and SaaS infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Vercel)

Why Join GeneLean360°
  • Work directly with Dr. Phyllis Pobee, a physician founder redefining genetic weight loss
  • Build the AI brain behind a proven, multi-million-dollar platform scaling toward SaaS
  • Shape the company’s long-term AI and automation foundation — the groundwork a future CTO will inherit
  • Fully remote, fast-moving, impact-driven culture
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and long-term growth potential

How to Apply

Please submit your resume to [email protected]

with the subject line: Artificial Intelligence Engineer — [Your Name]

Include your resume, LinkedIn, and answers to the questions below:

  1. Are you a Canadian citizen?
  2. What are your annual salary expectations?
  3. Describe a machine learning model you personally built end-to-end.
  4. What was the problem, model type, dataset size, and deployment approach?
  5. If you were turning a manual process for creating meal and exercise plans into AI-driven software, how would you approach this project end-to-end?
  6. How would you monitor model performance after deployment?

Optional: GitHub, portfolio links, or preferred tech stack.

In Summary

This is a foundational Canadian R&D role that bridges artificial intelligence, data science, and healthtech automation.

You will architect the intelligence core of a category-defining company and build technology that transforms how women achieve lasting weight loss through the power of genetics.

Only candidates whose experience strongly aligns with the role will be contacted for next steps.
