Job description:

Job Summary

The incumbent is part of the HR Operations Team for the Asia Pacific, China and India region based out of the Regional Head Office (RHO) in Singapore.  In this role, s/he will support the regional execution of HR strategy and drive operational excellence through policy implementation, e-learning lifecycle management, stakeholder and employee engagement, as well as HR project delivery.

 

As a trusted HR advisor in the region, s/he will engage and collaborate with Group Companies (GCs) and business functions including Singapore office from a consultative and proactive approach towards global standards and business objectives; aligning HR operations including but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership & Policy Execution

  • Partner with senior leaders and HR representatives from GCs to co-lead, coordinate and support the execution of Human Rights Labour Policies (HRLP), assigned initiatives and reporting.
  • Support Manager and Regional HR team in the delivery of HRLP initiatives/assignments encompassing policy and process review, execution and continuous improvement at both RHO and GCs level.
  • Provide advisory and guidance to country HR Teammates on interpretation and operationalization of global/regional policies and processes.
  • Participate in global and regional HR meetings, consolidate key information and coordinate among both global and regional stakeholders in HR initiatives alignment with business directions.

 Learning & Development (L&D) Operations

  • Manage the lifecycle of regional e-Learning initiatives and operations via SuccessFactors (SF), including monitoring, reporting, planning, deployment and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with Regional HR Center of Excellence (COE) Team and functional Person-In-Charge (PIC) to develop, test, and launch e-learning content and aligning with regional L&D standards and SF requirements.
  • Communicate timelines, follow-ups, and deployment status updates to GCs HR PICs to ensure seamless operational execution of e-learning initiatives.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for issues relating to accessibility and technical during both pre/post deployment.
  • Monitor process and consolidation of reports pertaining to operational lifecycle data and in compliance with e-learning guidelines/objectives.
  • Act as the PIC for learning lifecycle and operations in Singapore Office.

 Employees Communication and Engagement

  • Manage internal communication messages and materials, including drafting and dissemination to teammates in Singapore and the region on all HR operations e.g. HR policies, performance management, learning & development programs.
  • Engage key stakeholders on all necessary operations for alignment prior to drafting and obtaining approval from manager.
  • Co-lead/support teammates in employee engagement activities and ad-hoc HR events.

HR Operations:

  • Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc/assigned Singapore and regional HR initiatives by the Manager e.g. International Women’s Day, internal or external audits on HR.
  • Analyze relevant HR data and reports to propose and execute initiatives for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Provide HR operational support to business leaders and teammates in the Singapore Office when required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business/Human Resource discipline or its equivalent.
  • 10 years' experience in a HR Generalist capacity with sub-focus in Learning and Development and/or Employee Communication/Relation.
  • Prior regional experience with corporate HR structures from MNCs preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of accountability and an agile mindset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Data Analytics experience.
  • Proficiency in English and any other Asian language.
