System Analyst – Post Trade Systems

A distinguished organization is seeking a System Analyst to manage and optimize its Post Trade systems. This critical role focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of Clearing, Settlement, and Depository systems, providing robust operational support, and collaborating with external vendors to resolve escalated incidents efficiently.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing and optimizing the performance of Post Trade systems and related ecosystems.
• Resolving escalated issues, including those involving brokers, data vendors, and internal teams.
• Conducting root cause analysis, implementing preventative actions, and ensuring adherence to IT security standards such as server hardening and user access management.
• Overseeing system backups and audits to ensure compliance, data integrity, and availability.

Experiance:

• Experience: Over 7 years in IT application operations and support, with a focus on critical system environments.

Skills:

• Certified in Linux operating systems, with hands-on experience.
• Proficient in DB2 and Postgres databases; familiarity with Nasdaq Equator or AS400 systems is advantageous.
• Skilled in problem-solving, system security, and analytical thinking.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
