We are seeking a driven and commercially focused National / Key Account Manager to join our client's team. This role offers the opportunity to lead customer relationships, grow sales, and shape the category within the grocery retail sector.
Location: North Co. Dublin Hybrid (1 day WFH per week)
Travel: Some national & international travel required
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow key retail accounts, achieving sales targets and category growth.
- Develop and implement account plans, promotional activity, and seasonal ranges (e.g. Christmas, Mother’s Day, Easter).
- Negotiate pricing, prepare weekly price lists, and forecast sales.
- Oversee stock forecasting and ordering in line with customer demand.
- Collaborate with commercial, procurement, operations, finance, and suppliers to deliver customer excellence.
- Manage financial processes including promotional planning, pricing, invoice queries, and cost reviews.
- Support NPD and innovation for seasonal product launches.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a National or Key Account Manager, ideally with Irish grocery retailers.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- IT proficiency, particularly Excel.
- Interest or knowledge in horticulture is a plus.
