Software Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a platform-oriented team working with performance and stability testing within the eHealth domain. You will contribute to ensuring that complex systems perform, scale and remain stable under load by developing, executing and analyzing performance and load tests in close collaboration with functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve load-test scripts for complex IT systems.
• Execute performance and stability tests and analyze results.
• Identify bottlenecks, performance issues and scalability limitations across the stack.
• Collaborate with functional development teams to ensure performance requirements are understood and met.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of performance-related incidents.
• Document findings, test results and recommendations in a clear and structured way.
• Work on site and occasionally travel as needed depending on your location.
  
  

Requirements

• Professional experience working with Java.
• Professional experience working with JavaScript.
• Experience with full-stack troubleshooting (from front end to back end and infrastructure).
• Experience using load-testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Grafana k6, LoadRunner or AspectJ Recording Tool.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate findings into concrete improvement actions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.

• Experience working with relational databases.
• Experience in performance and stability testing of large-scale IT systems.
• Experience using different performance analysis tools (e.g. APM tools, profiling tools, monitoring platforms).
• Experience from the eHealth or healthcare domain.
• Experience working in platform-oriented or infrastructure-focused teams.
