As a top-tier engineer, you will take on ownership, strategic influence, and complex technical challenges in a role where you build the most critical features of a product. Your work will drive the technical evolution of our products, ensuring they remain scalable, maintainable, and robust over the long term. Working closely with product teams, you will translate high-level requirements into technical design decisions and solve complex challenges while upholding high-quality standards. Your decisions will shape the product's future and influence the learning experience of thousands of students.

What You Will Be Doing

• Feature Development: Design and implement new features with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term product impact.
• Requirement Engineering: Collaborate with the product team to refine requirements and lead technical discussions that align features with product goals.
• Operations and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain product stability, tune performance, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Technical Design: Make high-stakes technical decisions that directly impact user experiences and product scalability.

Senior Software Engineer key responsibilities

• At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
• At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
• At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
