Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. What You Will Be Doing
- Feature Development: Design and implement new features with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term product impact.
- Requirement Engineering: Collaborate with the product team to refine requirements and lead technical discussions that align features with product goals.
- Operations and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain product stability, tune performance, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Technical Design: Make high-stakes technical decisions that directly impact user experiences and product scalability.
- Jumping between short-term projects or chasing the latest hype-driven technology trends.
- Working on internal IT systems or outsourced projects that lack real-world user impact.
- Spending time in endless meetings or dealing with tedious infrastructure issues.
Senior Software Engineer key responsibilities
- At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
- At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
- At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.
- Experience in using generative AI in your day-to-day development work.
