Calian ITCS is currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, etc.) across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Champion Agile and SAFe practices to enhance team performance, delivery quality, and velocity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Development Leads to ensure clear backlog prioritization and sprint execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across development, integration, and testing teams.
- Monitor team progress and metrics, identifying and removing impediments to delivery.
- Ensure alignment between Agile teams and broader project management/governance structures.
- Contribute to technical discussions where applicable, leveraging understanding of C#, .NET, and the full SDLC.
- Clearance: Secret (mandatory)
- Controlled Goods Certification (must be eligible to apply)
- Language: English
- 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with a strong background as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.
- Proven expertise in Agile and preferably SAFe Agile environments.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Background in software development using C# and .NET technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Based in Calgary with the ability to work in a hybrid/on-site arrangement due to the classified nature of the work.
