To support the design and production of Skyloom's space lasers, the Senior Control Electronics Engineer designs, simulates, implements, and tests electronic PCB boards, sub-assemblies, and harnesses in accordance with verbal and written requirements. They will also document all stages of the development life cycle in accordance with Skyloom's design and development culture.

Duties:

·        Design complex electronics systems.

·        Perform Simulation, Part Stress Analysis, FMECAs and Reliability Assessments.

·        Perform multilayer PCB Layouts.

·        Verify requirements and performance in designed and manufactured hardware.

·        Generate “Ready to Production” output documentation.

Minimum Skills Requirements:

·        Experience in Library Component Management.

·        Knowledge of circuit simulation tools like LTspice or Pspice.

·        Very good understanding of design techniques for high speed digital circuits.

·        Experience in designing complex electronics systems. Multi-board architecture.

·        Experience in managing full electronics project life cycle, design, prototyping, production, testing.

·        Strong understanding of electronics reliability topics.

·        Design For Manufacturing.

·        Basic embedded programming knowledge C/C++ or similar language.

·        Basic knowledge of FPGA design techniques.

·        Agile approach to designing electronics. Multiple fast prototyping cycle.

·        Aerospace and defense industry knowledge.

·        High English level

·        VISA or European Passport is a plus

Required Education:

·        10+ years of experience in designing PCB, schematics and layout.

·        Education equivalent to a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Nice to Haves:

·        Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

·        Experience in Aerospace
