Network Architect

We are looking for a Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in VMware and networking to design and integrate a next-generation hosting platform for our client. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can drive the project forward while fostering knowledge sharing within an Agile team.

About the Role

As an Infrastructure Architect, you are responsible for designing and integrating VCF based platforms, including the network, storage, compute, and all necessary integration. You will also be instrumental in sharing your expertise in Network and Integration from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and WMware based network constructs (FW/LB/etc) so we can create a more T-shape Agile team, thus helping the client a step forward in new technologies.

You Will:

• Design and integrate VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) based platforms, network, storage, and compute.

• Apply expertise in Network and Integration, specifically from NSX-T to CISCO ACI and VMware-based network constructs (FW/LB/etc).

• Actively participate in knowledge transfer to T-shape the Agile delivery team.

• Execute stakeholder management and leverage strong communication skills.

• Create technical documentation as per client standards.

• Design DR capabilities across data centres (desired).

Responsibilities

At the end of the assignment the hosting platform should be:

• Designed and implemented using the latest VMware technologies.

• Have its Network and base constructs designed and implemented.

• All designs documented as per client standards.

You are an Experienced Infrastructure Architect with the following relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies:

• Expert knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

• Proven ability to design & integrate VCF based platforms, network, storage, and compute.

• Experience with NSX-T to CISCO ACI and VMware network constructs (FW/LB/etc).

• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability for knowledge transfer.

• Experience in creating technical documentation.

• Disaster Recovery experience and the ability to design DR capabilities across data centres is highly appreciated.
