Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role involves working closely with IT teams to implement security measures and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches or anomalies.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed reports and remediation steps.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks.
- Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and antivirus software.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, attack vectors, and cybersecurity trends.
- Assist in security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks.
- Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
