Required Skills & Experience
- Scrum Master Experience: Experience serving as a dedicated Scrum Master, guiding Agile teams through full project lifecycles
- Medicaid Program Knowledge: Experience working on Medicaid-related projects
- Healthcare Industry Expertise: Strong familiarity with healthcare environments and their unique compliance and regulatory demands
- Agile Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile principles; experience working in environments with strict compliance requirements
- SAFe Framework: Hands-on experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Work Management Tools: Proficient in using tools such as Jira and Rally for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting
Preferred (Nice to Have) Skills & Experience
- Certifications: SAFe certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist) are highly desirable
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking experienced Senior Scrum Masters to join our healthcare client's Agile Delivery team in support of critical technical initiatives within their healthcare technology ecosystem. This role will focus on enabling Agile/SAFe teams to deliver complex, compliance-driven projects—such as cloud migrations and core system upgrades—with precision, alignment, and velocity.
You will serve as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams, ensuring clear communication, adherence to compliance standards, and the removal of blockers to enable high-performance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile/SAFe teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and agile best practices
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
- Use work management tools such as Rally and Jira to manage backlog, track progress, and generate metrics
- Support Agile teams in compliance-heavy environments, helping them navigate delivery while adhering to regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, compliance, and operations teams to drive on-time delivery
- Remove team impediments and promote continuous improvement across agile practices
- Champion the use of SAFe principles across the organization, participating in PI planning and other ART-level events
Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and open communication across all stakeholders
