React.js Developer

• Contract term: 6 months initially
• Location: Sydney – hybrid
• Mandatory: Baseline Security Clearance

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled React.js Developer with a Baseline Security Clearance who can also contribute across the full stack. The ideal candidate has solid front-end experience using React.js and is comfortable working across backend services, APIs, and cloud environments. Experience with Java Spring Boot and AWS Cloud is a strong plus.

Mandatory Requirements

• Candidates must be an Australian citizen with a current AGSVA Baseline security clearance.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with React.js
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Understanding of full-stack application architecture
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset

Desirable Attributes:

• Experience with Java Spring Boot for backend development
• Experience developing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS, etc.)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Docker or containerized environments
• Basic DevOps understanding is a plus
