A bit about this role
This isn’t your typical recruitment role, and we’re not your typical search firm. At T&G, we connect people with purpose. We’re looking for an Associate, who knows the tech market, someone who understands the pace, the players, and the challenges of scaling product-led or venture-backed companies. You’ll work closely with founders, investors, and senior leaders to help them hire, plan, and grow.
As a Recruitment Associate, you’ll partner across the tech and digital ecosystem to build long-term relationships and deliver exceptional outcomes. From market mapping and sourcing to stakeholder management and advisory, you’ll create experiences that feel personal, transparent, and commercial, because that’s what we stand for.
Please note: This is a fixed-term contract of 6 months and is preferably based out of our Sydney office.
What you’ll be doing
- Research and map the tech market, identifying and engaging top talent across commercial, product, and executive roles;
- Source creatively using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms. You know where to look and how to engage authentically;
- Deliver insight-led reports and recommendations to our delivery leads, based on data and market intelligence;
- Build meaningful candidate experiences that reflect our values and strengthen the Think & Grow brand;
- Maintain clean, structured data and accurate reporting in our CRM and client systems;
- Balance quality with efficiency. You care about finding the right person, but also understand commercial outcomes matter.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
- Have demonstrative recruitment delivery experience, ideally within the tech sector (Startups, SaaS, venture, or scale-ups);
- Can speak the language of tech leaders and engineers, and understand how tech companies scale;
- Have genuine curiosity for people and context. You connect dots and spot potential others might miss;
- Are confident partnering with an internal delivery lead when searching for the ideal candidates – open and efficient conversation is key;
- Build trust quickly with candidates and communicate with clarity and empathy.
