Reporting to the Cyber Security GRC Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring ASC meets its governance and assurance obligations. The position focuses on control uplift, compliance activities, risk assessments, security documentation and ensuring that ICT systems align with ACSC and ISM requirements. You will also support stakeholder engagement and broader cyber uplift across the organisation.
Location: Osborne, South Australia
Clearance: Must be eligible for NV1
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ACSC Essential Eight, NIST and ISM controls
- Conduct security risk assessments and provide advice on control gaps and compliance requirements
- Assist with policy, standard and procedure development across the cyber program
- Maintain governance documentation, security registers and audit evidence
- Contribute to assurance activities including internal reviews, audits and accreditation support
- Provide guidance to ICT and project teams on secure design and risk mitigation
- Support cyber awareness, training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Five years or more of experience across IT systems, security or governance roles
- Strong understanding of ACSC Essential Eight, ISM, and broader governance frameworks
- Experience documenting controls, managing evidence, and supporting audits or accreditation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills
- Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for NV1 clearance
