What You'll Do

We don't stay still for long, and with the ever-changing technology landscape it's time to start work on LawY version 2.0. This is where you come in......As an experienced hands-on Engineer you'll partner closely with the CEO of LawY to design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient web applications. You'll contribute to architectural decisions and build solutions that are well designed, built, implemented and you'll understand the “why” and “what for”. We have an ambitious roadmap, but as a lean and high trust team, we remain quick to collaborate and support each other with challenging problems. This is an incredible opportunity to help carve out what direction this product takes.

What You'll Bring

You are a smart, focused, motivated and hard-working Engineer who wants to make an impact, while expanding your skills. On top of that you will bring:

Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in full stack web development, with a recent focus on Next.js and Vercel and previous experience working for a start-up.
Track record: You are proud of your track record which includes building features and products that have been fully operationalised.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web development frameworks.
Communication: You are concise in your verbal and written communication - sharing the what, the why and the how of what you are thinking and doing in all directions.
Motivation: You are passionate about making products or services that help people. You're at peak satisfaction when you find users are happy with your products.
Quality: You understand the trade-offs between quality and velocity and have a track record of striking the right balance
