Java / Web Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java / Web Developer to join a Connectivity Development Team. This team is responsible for working on high-volume, mission-critical applications.

As a key member of the team, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of connectivity services within a modern technological environment (Java, REST, Cloud, DevOps).

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end Java applications in an object-oriented environment.
• Implement and optimize robust and high-performing RESTful services.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of the architecture.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to the analysis and resolution of application incidents.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinements, reviews, retrospectives).

Required Technical Stack & Skills:

The successful candidate must possess experience with the following technologies:

• Java SE 8+ / Java EE 6–7
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
• REST Web Services
• Maven
• Unix / Linux
• Git / GitHub
• Oracle SQL

Highly Valued Assets (A Plus):

Experience with any of the following technologies or practices would be a significant advantage:

• Deployment on JBoss / EAP
• Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ArgoCD
• OpenShift Service Mesh, Google Tekton
• Linux Shell Scripting
• Front-end: HTML / CSS / JavaScript / React
• Practical experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Desired Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Autonomy, strong sense of responsibility, and keen attention to detail.
• Critical thinking: the ability to identify problems and propose concrete solutions.
• Very good proficiency in English (both written and oral).
• Knowledge of French and/or German is considered a valuable asset.
