We are recruiting exclusively on behalf of a prestigious private bank with a strong presence in Luxembourg.
As part of its strategic development and digital transformation roadmap, the bank is recruiting its future Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join the Luxembourg Executive Committee.
Missions
- Direct reporting line to the CEO of the Luxembourg entity
- Pivotal role shaping the IT strategy of a growing financial institution
- Strong autonomy, resources and influence to drive meaningful impact
- Define and execute the local IT strategy aligned with Group vision and business objectives
- Lead digital transformation, fostering innovation, automation and cloud adoption
- Oversee core banking platforms and IT project portfolio, ensuring performance and delivery
- Ensure information security, regulatory compliance (CSSF/EU), BCM and operational resilience
- Develop the IT organisation, mentor teams and manage strategic vendors/partners
Profile
- 12–15 years in IT leadership roles, including minimum 5 years in senior management
- Strong track record in banking or financial services within international or matrix environments
- Expertise in IT governance, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and risk management
- Knowledge of core banking systems (Avaloq, NeoXam or similar) and large-scale programs
- Natural leadership, strong communication and ability to simplify complex topics for business stakeholders
Languages
- French: fluent (mandatory)
- English: fluent (mandatory)
- German and/or Luxembourgish: strong assets
