This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing, AI-powered journey management platform. You will work on high-impact projects to optimize real-time functionality, enhance AI-driven features, and improve data graph performance for enterprise clients. The position combines hands-on engineering with architectural decision-making, emphasizing scalability, performance, and maintainability. You will join a cross-functional product team and collaborate with DevOps, QA, AI, and analytics teams in a fully remote environment. The role values autonomy, asynchronous work, and a pragmatic, product-minded approach, giving you freedom to drive innovation and deliver measurable impact to customers worldwide.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Node.JS applications with TypeScript for high-performance, scalable systems
  • Enhance real-time platform features to deliver an exceptional multiplayer and interactive experience
  • Work on AI-powered functionalities to enable better insights and data-driven decision-making
  • Optimize data retrieval by improving queries, introducing caching, and refining system architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, AI, and analytics to ensure successful project delivery
  • Contribute to code quality, documentation, testing, and best practices across the engineering team
  • Mentor and support colleagues while continuously improving platform architecture and development processes


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Node.JS engineer, ideally in TypeScript, with hands-on experience in scalable, high-performance systems
  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies, including GraphQL, Apollo, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, websockets, microservices, and DDD
  • Experience building data integrations and working with enterprise-grade applications is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, pragmatic perfectionism, and ability to balance performance, maintainability, and readability
  • Product-minded mindset with curiosity about user behavior and customer needs
  • Ability to work independently in an asynchronous, fully remote team while documenting and organizing work effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English
