Senior Core Java Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Java Developer to join a team responsible for applications supporting complex logistics processes. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, customization, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based business applications.
• Use established tools and industry-standard conventions, including Java, Oracle, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular.
• Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot code for multiple Java applications.
• Analyze business objectives to propose system improvements and modernization plans.
• Ensure performance requirements are clearly defined, implemented, and optimized.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex, large-scale solutions.
• Manage and maintain defect tracking, resolve issues, and apply system updates.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt new technologies for continuous improvement.
• Create technical specifications, perform unit testing, and support integration/user testing.
• Monitor day-to-day application behavior and provide Level 2/3 support as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Educational Background

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.

Technical Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of experience developing large, complex systems in:
• Core Java, Java EE
• Oracle DB
• Linux
• TIBCO EMS
• Maven
• JavaScript, React, Angular
• Ansible
• Splunk
• SonarQube
• Working in n-tier architecture
• Minimum 5 years of development experience across diverse system interfaces.
• Minimum 5 years as a Lead Developer.
• Strong background in object-oriented development, design patterns, and best practices (e.g., SOA).
• Experience with:
• Web Services
• MVC Architecture
• Service-Oriented Architecture
• CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins/Bamboo)

Preferred Certifications

• Professional Java Certification
• Oracle Certification (highly desirable)
