In your position, you will be instrumental in the implementation of new merchandising articles and the idea generation for new products. You will scout new products on global and national fairs and events, ensuring purchasing process optimization and efficiency. You will ensure the purchasing of a highly diverse portfolio of merchandising products and select and approve 3rd party providers.

What You Will Be Doing

Merchandising Lifecycle

• Implementation of new merchandising articles
• Idea generation for new products
• Scouting of new products on global and national fairs and events
• Ensure purchasing process optimization and efficiency for merchandising complementary products
• Define requirement criteria and process from idea to implementation and life cycle support including packaging development, sampling, product testing, quality, master data, warranty/care
  
  

Procurement

• Ensure the purchasing of a highly diverse portfolio of merchandising products
• Select and approve 3rd party providers
• Ensure complex negotiations with providers and establish contracts with new providers
• Install and maintain a good balance between the quality and performance of purchased goods and services and the cost optimization in line with the purchasing budget
• Anticipate the future possible evolutions of demands of the organization
• Ensure the follow-up and the renewal of the providers contracts
• Identify Opportunities for Growth
  
  

Collaborate with Key Stakeholders

• Partner with influential internal stakeholders to accurately assess company needs
• Manage stock situation with internal stakeholders

What You Bring To The Job

• University level education with several years of experience Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience
• Strong record of working knowledge in international procurement and/or product development preferably from consumer product industries (FMCG) with excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills ranging from technical to business communities and teams
• Monetization, revenue management and pricing competencies with experience in creating additional revenue driven by new categories and services to existing product lines
• Willing to travel
• Travel Requirements
• English: C2 – Proficient
