Where and how we work?

We currently have teams based in Malta, Lisbon (PT), Sofia (BG), London (UK) and Bucharest (RO). Our hybrid work model encourages regular in-person collaboration while also allowing flexibility to work remotely.

Long story short, you will

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineering Team Lead with strong hands-on technical expertise and solid experience delivering high-quality Casino & Sports betting frontends. In this role, you will lead a Team of Frontend and QA Engineers; collaborate closely with Design, QA, and Product to build new player-facing frontends for one of our most important operator clients.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence

  • Lead, mentor, and support a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and a Designer.
  • Make technical decisions related to architecture, code quality, and best practices.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of the frontend applications.
  • Review code, guide refactoring, and enforce engineering standards.

Product & Delivery Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of frontend features, components, and enhancements.
  • Work closely with Product to refine requirements, define scope, and translate needs into actionable technical plans.
  • Collaborate with Design to ensure a consistent, user-centric implementation.
  • Manage delivery timelines, prioritisation, estimations, and workload planning for the team.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers early, and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure releases meet functional expectations, quality standards, and client/business goals.

Cross-Team Coordination and Communication

  • Facilitate smooth communication with Product, Design, Backend, and Client/Stakeholder teams and act as the technical voice in cross-functional discussions.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to Product and Leadership.
  • Maintain documentation of processes, standards, and release-related details.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing engineering culture

Your areas of knowledge and expertise :

  • Around 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer(JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Experience working with modern frameworks, such as ReactJS and SvelteJS
  • Previous experience as Team Lead or Senior Developer with people management responsibilities.
  • Experience building high-traffic B2C websites (ideally Casino & Sports).
  • Strong understanding of modern FE architecture, technologies, performance optimization
  • Strong experience working with API integrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and lead a team with confidence.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Client focused mindset and the ability to understand client needs
