Job Title: Security Engineer (Splunk & PAM)

About the Role:

We are seeking two skilled and motivated Security Engineers with expertise in Splunk (SIEM) and/or Privileged Access Management (PAM) (e.g., BeyondTrust, Wallix). In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our organization's data and systems by designing, implementing, and managing security solutions.

You will:

• Continue our Splunk (SIEM) rollout, connect new systems and logs, and develop the system according to the needs of our SOC (Security Operations Center) team.
• Help roll out and administer our new PAM solution to secure and control privileged accounts, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions using Splunk for SIEM, threat detection, and incident response.
• Develop and optimize Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports for real-time security insights.
• Administer and manage PAM solutions (e.g., BeyondTrust) to enforce access controls, secure credentials, and monitor privileged sessions.
• Integrate PAM with other security tools, including Splunk, to create a unified security posture.
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to implement security best practices across the organization.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer with a strong focus on Splunk and/or PAM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk (SIEM, SOAR, custom apps, dashboards).
• Experience with PAM platforms and their implementation in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, Splunk certifications) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Language: German desirable; fluent English is a must (if not German-speaking).
