Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong Java experience and a genuine interest in backend infrastructure. You’ll join a team that builds and maintains systems supporting internal editorial workflows used daily by content and production teams. The platforms you develop will play a key role in enabling large-scale interactions and listening across curated content experiences.

What you’ll work on

• Building and maintaining backend services in Java
• Developing data pipelines, GraphQL interfaces, and PostgreSQL-based systems
• Contributing to backend infrastructure improvements and scalable system design
• Collaborating closely with both backend and frontend (TypeScript) teams
• Following features from development to production with fast feedback from internal users

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Java and backend architecture
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Comfortable working across multiple systems and collaborating with frontend teams
• Experience with GraphQL and/or TypeScript is a strong advantage
• Background in CMS, publishing platforms, or internal tools is a plus
