We are seeking a Senior UI Artist with a strong background in game development and a deep understanding of Unreal Engine. In this role, you will take ownership of creating visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the player experience. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, game designers, and programmers to bring UI to life from concept to implementation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, create, and implement high-quality UI assets, screens, and visual elements in Unreal Engine.
- Develop UI concepts, mood boards, and style explorations that align with the game’s artistic direction.
- Work closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and flows into functional and visually engaging UI.
- Build and maintain UI animations, transitions, and visual effects for polished presentation.
- Collaborate with game designers and engineers to ensure UI integrates seamlessly into gameplay.
- Help define and maintain UI art guidelines, ensuring visual consistency and scalability.
- Troubleshoot UI issues, optimize workflows, and ensure performance-friendly assets.
- 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist in the games industry (or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine, including UMG, UI animation tools, and asset integration.
- A solid portfolio showcasing shipped titles or high-quality UI work for games.
- Strong visual design skills, including graphic design, typography, iconography, and layout.
- Strong understanding of game pipelines and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Experience working closely with UX to bring interactive systems to life.
