Your Mission
As a Game Designer on Stellaris, your mission is to imagine, shape, and implement the mechanics that underpin our galaxy. Alongside the rest of the design team, you’ll build the frameworks that let players experiment, strategize, and tell their own stories at scale.
As a team, we ideate and prototype, break down problems, and iterate relentlessly. Using our in-house scripting language, we translate design intent into functional, emergent gameplay. We collaborate openly, question assumptions, and take pride in building robust, expressive mechanics.
We aim to be the best in the business, and we set our sights on the stars.
The skills we’re searching for…
- Fluent in English with an excellent command of written American English.
- Experience in game design.
- Experience with or interest in code-based scripting.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other developers on assigned tasks and take responsibility for delivering work according to the project’s schedule
- A strong passion for and interest in Stellaris and/or knowledge and experience of other Paradox Development Studio Grand Strategy Games
