Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Experience with AWS,
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Linux, Mysql, Redis, Apache, Nginx
- Knowledge in PHP ecosystems
- Proactive attitude in identifying issues and solutions
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and debugging skills
- Speaking up when something just doesn’t feel right w/productive feedback
Responsibilities
- Build and setup new development, testing, automation tools and infrastructure
- Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Test and examine code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Deploy updates
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Perform analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Document infrastructure, deployment, monitoring procedures
- Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
- Measure performance and environment of application with system & application log tools
- Manage regular backups of all systems
- Create tools to analyze and visualize system health
