We're working on a large transformation programme Financial Institution in Abu Dhabi.


Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced and technically strong Project Managers to lead and deliver a range of digital and technology transformation projects, including web platforms, procurement systems, and enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on project management experience, with a deep understanding of the entire Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) — from initiation and planning through to execution, governance, vendor management, and post-implementation support.

These are generalist roles, requiring strong delivery leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance capabilities across both business and technology domains.


Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Project Delivery

  • Lead and manage complex technology and digital projects from initiation to go-live.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Drive execution against plan, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.

2. Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare and present project updates to Steering Committees and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage communications and expectations across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms to ensure project transparency and control.

3. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage external technology vendors, ensuring deliverables, SLAs, and quality standards are met.
  • Lead procurement processes for digital and technology services where required.
  • Negotiate contracts, track vendor performance, and escalate issues proactively.

4. Technical Delivery & Quality

  • Work closely with technical leads, solution architects, and business analysts to ensure solution design and delivery
  • Oversee system integrations, testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise architecture and security standards.

5. Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Drive structured change control to manage project scope and avoid scope creep.
  • Maintain clear documentation, decision logs, and lessons learned repositories.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology or digital project management, preferably across web, ERP/procurement,
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end project lifecycles within structured PM frameworks (Agile and/or Waterfall).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning and schedule tracking.
  • Experience managing Steering Committees, executive stakeholders, and C-level reporting.
  • Strong vendor and partner management experience, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Excellent understanding of software delivery processes, system integrations, and digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence presenting to senior audiences.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile PM).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Background in digital transformation or enterprise systems implementation projects.
