Kongsberg Discovery’s PosCom division is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead cutting-edge initiatives in maritime communication and positioning technologies. From underwater acoustic systems to integrated navigation solutions, our projects support critical operations in offshore energy, ocean science, defence, and autonomous marine systems.

As Project Manager, you’ll orchestrate multidisciplinary teams, manage complex timelines, and ensure delivery of world-class solutions that shape the future of ocean exploration and sustainable marine infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute project deliveries in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define project objectives and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Plan and secure necessary resources in collaboration with the Resource Coordinator, ensuring timely allocation.
• Monitor and control project performance, including cost, progress, and schedule adherence.
• Establish and maintain a structured and traceable project archive.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Motivate and guide the project team to achieve defined project goals and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to digitalization of production processes, and support business development activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, shipyards, and other external partners.
• Travel as required to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales and other Business Units to contribute to and support bid processes.
  
  

Competence

• Higher technical education, preferably within engineering or project management.
• Relevant experience from the Offshore and/or Merchant Marine industry.
• Hands-on experience from marine-related projects, with prior knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime’s products considered an advantage.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems, as well as project planning tools.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
