We are seeking an intern who can commit full-time for at least six months.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements sessions with business users and subject matter experts.
- Support the quality assurance process to ensure proper implementation of requirements. Assist in creating user training materials and collaborate with the business to deliver training.
- Analyze current and future system workflows, assess the impact of changes initiated by business or IT, and provide input on business processes.
- Coordinate with Global IT to monitor and manage application deployments and retail-related projects.
- Maintain documentation, including use cases and functional requirements, and prepare presentations to address issues, risks, or solution options.
- Track project and enhancement progress by regularly communicating with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
- Collaborate with regional Retail Operations, Omnichannel, and Supply Chain teams to define omnichannel processes, in-store technologies, and tools.
- Monitor application incidents, take preemptive measures to mitigate potential risks, and collaborate with the Business and Application Support Team to resolve issues.
- Perform basic IT administration tasks such as monitoring and troubleshooting, and escalating tickets when necessary.
- Execute other related duties as assigned by the IT team.
- Experience business analysis and business process modeling
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Passion for retail and technology
- Interest in Digital, Omnichannel, IT Business or Project Management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a diplomatic approach
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Sensitivity to the multicultural dynamics of a global IT organization
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as SQL, Python or PowerShell.
- Willingness to attend meetings with the US Global team, which may occur outside regular office hours.
