We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to contribute to major initiatives and build high quality and architecturally sound systems for global usage.

Job scope:

• Compile and submit data to regulatory bodies.
• Establish vision and technical direction for major initiatives and build high quality and architecturally sound systems for global usage
• Work towards sprint goals which means hands-on programming, testing and putting the new solutions into production.

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree (Computer Science/Engineering).
• 6 years of commercial software development experience using structured software development procedures in UNIX and Windows 7 environments.
• 6+ years of commercial hands-on experience in Python.
• Knowledge in Perl and Java preferred.
• Experience in Application containerisation (e.g. Openshift).
• Knowledge in CICD.
• Experience in Linux and Shell Scripting
• Solid knowledge of SQL, ideally with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GIT, Jira, Jenkins and BitBucket.
• Experience with Scrum preferred.
• Knowledge in Microservices, Kafka and/or AWS preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and good presentation skills.
• Experience in finance industry such as stock broking or wholesale finance is preferred.
