This role is responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure to support modern software applications. You will contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code, ensuring that production environments are stable, secure, and efficient. The position combines hands-on engineering, automation, and troubleshooting with collaboration across software development, QA, and operations teams. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, driving initiatives that improve deployment speed, system reliability, and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure technologies while shaping best practices in DevOps and cloud-native environments.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain Python applications and automation tools, ensuring clean, modular, and production-ready code
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins for automated building, testing, and deployment
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Helm
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or equivalent tools
- Write and maintain automation scripts (Ansible, Bash, Python) to streamline operational tasks
- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
- Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 2 years of professional experience
- Strong Python development skills, including building automation tools and internal services
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins
- Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX systems administration and troubleshooting
- Practical experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Helm
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or KVM
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and proficiency in automation frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills in collaborative environments
- Nice to have: experience with Ansible, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), Golang, and monitoring tools such as Grafana or Splunk
- Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000-$185,000 depending on experience and location
