The Senior NetServices Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s netServices infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all sites. The role involves providing expert-level technical support for complex netServices issues, implementing new netServices solutions, and ensuring smooth operations of wired, wireless, and data center connectivity. The Senior NetServices Specialist will Services closely with the netServices engineering and security teams, lead technical implementations, and coordinate with vendors and service providers to deliver reliable and scalable netServices services.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and perform netServices operations, configuration, and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, data center, and wireless environments.
• Handle escalated incidents related to routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity failures.
• Implement and manage netServices segmentation, VLAN, STP, and 802.1x configurations.
• Configure and support Cisco SDA and ACI environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Manage VPN configurations (SSL, IPsec, GRE, L2TP) and troubleshoot remote access issues.
• Support SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, and Meraki wireless deployments.
• Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and netServices performance optimization.
• Maintain and update netServices documentation, including topology diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for issue resolution and new deployments.
• Provide technical input during project planning, HLD/LLD creation, and change implementation.
• Review and apply netServices-related patches, software upgrades, and firmware updates.
• Implement netServices security best practices in collaboration with the security team.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex netServices incidents.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for netServices infrastructure.
• Evaluate new netServices technologies and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and scalability


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent manpower experience.
• Certified in ITIL frameServices and processes.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise netServices operations and support.
• Deep technical knowledge of wired and wireless netServices technologies, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
• Expertise in Cisco SDA, Cisco ACI, and virtualized netServices environments.
• Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, vPC, VDC, VRF, and multitenancy models.
• Proficiency in VPN technologies (SSL, IPsec, GRE, L2TP).
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Meraki, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR routers, Nexus switches, and Firewalls.
• Familiarity with Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco Firepower firewalls.
• Understanding of WAF and netServices security integration.
• Proven experience in LAN/WAN migrations, HLD/LLD preparation, and Visio documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously and Services collaboratively with cross-functional teams
