Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Android Developer who builds high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin & Java, follows MVVM architecture, and uses Data Binding / View Binding. You’ll own feature development from design to APK build and release, collaborate with product and backend teams, and help improve app performance and developer workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Implement and enforce MVVM architecture (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow/StateFlow).
- Use Data Binding / ViewBinding to create clean, maintainable UI code.
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs using Retrofit/OkHttp and handle offline caching (Room).
- Build, sign and deliver APK / AAB packages; manage Play Store releases.
- Write unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso) and participate in code reviews.
- Optimize app performance (memory, battery, startup time) and fix crashes.
- Work with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Bitrise) to automate builds and releases.
