We are currently looking for a Technical Architect Java to join our growing client in Brussels.

Goal:

• Provide advice and support and implement IT Architecture related activities (Solution architecture, system design, technical architecture, follow up of development projects) in the JAVA domain
• Prepare architecture deliverables concerning several IT topics (DevSecOps, API Governance, micro-service architectures, SDLC best practices, IT Governance, Kubernetes)
• Conduct proofs of concept concerning new technologies and trends, products or appliance of IT best practices

Project :

* Functional analysis and hands-on implementation of business requirements and business processes

* Technical analysis, specification, and coding of business processes, user requirements and development of applications

* Prototyping and coding of proof-of-concept applications

* Design and implementation of applications and/or service and component models and their interfaces

* Development and integration of middleware components, relational databases

* Proofs of concept development and coding

* Design, implementation, and review of security concerns for applications

* Definition of test strategies, design, coding, and testing of applications

* Technical assessment, coding, and integration of technologies and/or related products

* Functional and technical documentation, including code documentation

* Functional and technical training, including coding tutorials

* Troubleshooting and hands-on resolution of complex or urgent matters supporting development teams

* Drafting of reports, technical documentation, decision notes with coding insights

* Hands-on coding skills in Java

* Practical experience with Kubernetes deployment and management

* Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architecture

Profile:

• Master Degree and professional experience in the field of at least 8 years.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot for developing applications.
• Working with workflow engines such as Flowable and Camunda or Activity would be an asset.
• Documenting architecture using tools like Microsoft Visio and Draw.io
• Knowledge of architectural documentation frameworks such as C4 , arc42, UML.
• Very good SQL knowledge, with PL/SQL being a significant asset.
• Proficiency in working with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Experience with OpenID Connect for secure authentication.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Fluency in English.
