About The Role
As a Scrum Master, you will guide and support Agile teams to deliver high-value outcomes within a secure Defence environment. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, technical leads and stakeholders to ensure transparency, remove impediments, optimise team performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion Agile principles and Scrum practices across the project team
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, retrospectives and reviews
- Track and manage sprint progress, team capacity and delivery metrics
- Identify and eliminate delivery roadblocks
- Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Ensure alignment with Defence governance, security and project frameworks
- Promote communication, collaboration and high performance within the team
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex ICT or transformation programs
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification highly regarded)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-security environments
- Experience within Defence, government or similarly regulated industries is desirable
A Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.
Candidates without an active clearance cannot be considered.
