Are you a Scrum Master looking to contribute to high-impact projects that support Australia’s national security? We are seeking a driven Agile professional to join our Defence client’s multidisciplinary team, delivering complex ICT and capability uplift programs.

About The Role

As a Scrum Master, you will guide and support Agile teams to deliver high-value outcomes within a secure Defence environment. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, technical leads and stakeholders to ensure transparency, remove impediments, optimise team performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion Agile principles and Scrum practices across the project team
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, retrospectives and reviews
• Track and manage sprint progress, team capacity and delivery metrics
• Identify and eliminate delivery roadblocks
• Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritisation
• Ensure alignment with Defence governance, security and project frameworks
• Promote communication, collaboration and high performance within the team
  
  

About You

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex ICT or transformation programs
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification highly regarded)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-security environments
• Experience within Defence, government or similarly regulated industries is desirable

A Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.

Candidates without an active clearance cannot be considered.
