THE COMPANY:
This company is an ASX-listed Healthcare organization who has improved the lives of tens of thousands of people in multiple locations across Australia, Asia Pacific, the UK and Europe.
They are currently building out their internal IT team as the business scales up to support and enhance their infrastructure.
On offer:
- Hybrid office work (3 days in office)
- Working directly alongside the Team Lead to upskill and knowledge share.
- Broad role across both systems and network engineering tasks.
THE ROLE:
Network Systems Engineer administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting the IT infrastructure across a hybrid (on-prem/ Private data center) environment.
This role involves BAU work + some projects, supporting and enhancing the network, Windows Server, virtualisation, and private cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN in an enterprise business.
- Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs.
- Administering and supporting Windows servers, virtualization platforms (VMware) and M365.
- BAU maintenance - patching and updating Servers for security.
- Troubleshooting network performance problems and outages.
- Dealing with escalations from the Service Desk.
- Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
- Project work - Setting up new sites, re-designing networks, upgrading current systems.
YOUR PROFILE:
Suitable for a System& Network Administrator/ Engineer, who's worked in a similar mid-sized and complex Enterprise environment.
Ideal for a proactive self-starter, keen to expand their knowledge, and grow their career in a small, collaborative team.
Required skills:
- Competent skills administering Windows Server, VMware and M365.
- Hands on experience with the administration of network routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience patching servers to maintain security.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA+ and Microsoft are highly desirable.
- Attitude: Genuine passion for learning and growing, who enjoys taking on responsibility.
- Team fit / personality: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
This is a full-time role located in St Leonards (hybrid working), offering $100,000 - $115,000 (plus super).
