Join Optus as a Digital Data Analyst and help shape the future of our digital customer experience. In this role, you’ll turn complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across Optus’ digital assets, including the My Optus App, website, and chatbot. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced analytics, and deliver recommendations that improve customer engagement and business performance.
Your day to day will consist of
- Writing and developing tracking specifications for web and app implementations.
- Testing digital tracking against specifications and business requirements.
- Querying customer data using SQL and performing structured analyses.
- Building dashboards and visualisations to report on customer behaviour and trends.
- Translating business questions into analytical tasks and delivering clear recommendations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across squads to support digital initiatives and OKRs
- Tertiary qualification in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Statistics).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, or commercial functions within a large organisation.
- Proficiency in SQL and statistical modelling, with experience in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of data warehouse structures and data extraction processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work through complex issues, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and commercial acumen.
