Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy, Governance & Architecture Alignment
- Translate Strategy 2030 into a future-ready IT foundation that supports the Procurement Orchestration Platform 2.0, multi-client data lake, and horizontal operating model.
- Establish and run a modern IT governance model aligned with cross-functional GEB priorities (TOM, Tech & Data, Talent, Multi-engine).
- Own the enterprise architecture, ensuring full alignment with the CTO’s platform blueprint (Data Lake, integration layer, trust layer, vertical LLM, procurement platform).
- Implement the IT components needed for scalability, standardization, simplification, and automation, supporting efficiency improvements of +20% EBITDA margin.
2. IT Operations & Infrastructure Leadership
- Operate a stable, cloud-only global infrastructure as defined in the Tech Services 2030 SEP.
- Own end-to-end IT operations: networks, cloud, identity and access, service desk, workplace, asset management, EUC, and service management.
- Deliver >90% SLA compliance, <12 critical incidents annually, and significant service improvement benchmarks.
- Oversee IT operations readiness for the scalable TOM, global delivery centers, and new office rollouts across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Lead integration of new clients and regions into the enterprise IT landscape in line with the new multi-client model.
3. Enterprise Applications & Digital Workplace
- Own the full landscape of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, procurement systems, collaboration tools).
- Modernize and consolidate applications to fit the multi-client global platform model, eliminating fragmentation and reducing IT OPEX / Cash Out as defined in the SEP financials.
- Accelerate integration with the Smart Connect Portal, Workflow Engines, and best-of-breed digital ecosystem partners (OutSystems, Archlet, Apadua, Sievo, ...).
- Drive user-centric workplace redesign with modern productivity tooling supporting a global professional services culture.
4. Cybersecurity, Data Protection & IT Risk Management
- Own and deliver the company-wide security posture, aligned with the Cyber & IT Security strategic priorities (SOC 2, IS27001).
- Lead regulatory-grade cyber governance, including continuous improvement of maturity levels.
- Implement “security by design & default” in all IT systems, data flows, and cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance across geographies, including data residency, client audit requirements, and multi-client data segregation and trust mechanisms demanded by Platform 2.0.
- Oversee BCP/DR, cyber hygiene, incident management, and third-party risk management.
5. Budgeting, Vendor Management & Cost Optimization
- Own the full global IT OPEX, CAPEX, and PEX spend categories as per Tech Services financial drill-down.
- Optimize cost structures through cloud rationalization, contract consolidation, automation, and improved license governance.
- Ensure strategic vendor partnerships (Microsoft, Datamatics, Kyndryl, etc.) are governed effectively and tied to business value.
- Support the CTO in achieving the Strategy 2030 efficiency targets of +20% EBITDA margin and IT cost improvements.
6. Leadership, Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead global IT teams across Switzerland, Romania, India, and future locations.
- Instill a professional services mindset, aligned with the cultural expectations of Strategy 2030
- Work closely with Managed Services, Transformation Services, Markets, HR, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Security, and Data & AI.
- Serve as the “IT voice” in cross-functional steering forums (TOM, Tech & Data engines, Multi-engine, Governance).
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in enterprise IT leadership, ideally in global, regulated, or professional services organizations.
- Proven expertise in cloud-only redesigns, multi-region IT operations, and zero-trust security models.
- Demonstrated experience enabling AI, data, platform, or digital transformation programs.
- Background interfacing with C-level and Boards in high-stakes security and operational contexts.
- Strong understanding of procurement platforms, multi-client environments, or enterprise SaaS ecosystems is a plus.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, CIS frameworks, TPRM environments, ESG reporting, and global data protection laws.
