Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Airflow (Cloud Composer).

Location: Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid or Remote)

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Proven experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data workflows
• Familiarity with Generative AI foundations and Large Language Models (LLMs) (a plus, not mandatory)
• Previous experience in Agile development environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python and Airflow (Cloud Composer)
• Implement scalable data solutions leveraging GCP services
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders) to deliver impactful solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering and AI workflows
