Job Description
Aumovio Engineering Solutions (AES) Portugal is seeking a Head of Human Relations to join our team in Porto, Portugal. This key position will drive our HR strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and align our people practices with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support AES Portugal's business objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring excellence in all HR functions
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and change management initiatives
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
- Design and manage performance management systems
- Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and company policies
- Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
- Manage employee relations
- Collaborate with global AES HR teams to align local practices with corporate strategies
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a HR leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
- Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and HR best practices
- Experience working in multinational or global organizations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational development
- Experience in talent management, performance systems, and employee engagement
- Business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
