Job Description

Aumovio Engineering Solutions (AES) Portugal is seeking a Head of Human Relations to join our team in Porto, Portugal. This key position will drive our HR strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and align our people practices with organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support AES Portugal's business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring excellence in all HR functions
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning strategies
  • Design and manage performance management systems
  • Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and company policies
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions
  • Manage employee relations
  • Collaborate with global AES HR teams to align local practices with corporate strategies

Qualifications

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a HR leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
  • Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws, EU employment directives, and HR best practices
  • Experience working in multinational or global organizations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational development
  • Experience in talent management, performance systems, and employee engagement
  • Business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
