About Zebra BI & Zebra AI
Zebra BI helps companies turn data into clear, IBCS-compliant visuals and better decisions. We’re a profitable, product-led SaaS company with a strong reputation in the analytics and business intelligence space.
Zebra AI is our next big product: an AI-native experience that turns messy data into decision-ready reports and insights in minutes, helping teams go from data to decisions in no time. We’re early in the journey and moving fast, with a small team and strong foundations to build on.
We’re now looking for a (Senior) Product Manager to help us discover and scale the right product for the right customers – together with the VP Growth and Head of AI.
The role
This is a high-ownership, high-trust role. You won’t just “manage a backlog”; you’ll help answer the core questions:
- Who is Zebra AI really for?
- Which problems do we solve better than anyone else?
- How do we turn that into a product people love and a business that grows?
You’ll be a sparring partner to the VP Growth, working closely with engineering, data, and GTM to find product–market fit and build a repeatable growth engine.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead discovery & define problems
- Run continuous discovery: interviews, workflow mapping, concept tests, usability sessions.
- Identify high-value problems and use cases for our target personas (e.g., analytics, finance, and business teams).
- Turn qualitative and quantitative insights into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and product opportunities.
2. Own key product areas end-to-end
- Take ideas from concept → spec → shipped → measured → iterated.
- Write concise product specs that align engineering, data, and design without over-process.
- Work closely with the engineering to translate technical capabilities into simple, valuable user experiences.
3. Drive activation, engagement & retention
- Help define what “success” looks like in the product: activation, engagement, and long-term usage.
- Shape onboarding, key workflows, guidance, and in-product education to get users to value quickly.
- Collaborate with Growth and PMM on experiments that improve adoption and long-term usage.
4. Turn learning into focus & roadmap
- Bring structure to ambiguity: synthesize input from customers, data, and the team into a clear narrative.
- Maintain a focused, outcome-oriented roadmap that the team understands and believes in.
- Communicate priorities and trade-offs clearly across product, engineering, and GTM.
5. Lead cross-functionally
- Act as a partner to VP Growth, Head of AI, PMM, and other functions.
- Support launches with clear positioning, messaging inputs, and “what’s new / why it matters.”
- Help build a culture of experimentation, learning, and customer-centricity.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…
- Love early-stage product work. You enjoy figuring out what to build and for whom, not just managing delivery.
- Balance discovery with execution. You’re comfortable talking to customers one hour and refining a spec the next.
- Care deeply about UX. You’re not a designer, but you obsess over intuitive flows and reducing complexity for users.
- Think in hypotheses and experiments. You’re pragmatic: ship, measure, learn, adjust.
- Are data-informed. You know how to work with product data and funnels, but you don’t wait for perfect information.
- Communicate clearly. You bring clarity to messy topics and make decisions and trade-offs understandable.
- Own outcomes, not output. You measure success by user and business impact, not feature count.
Requirements:
Must-haves
- 4–7+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS.
- Experience working on new products or product lines (0→1), PMF, or expansion into new spaces).
- Demonstrated use of continuous discovery practices (regular customer contact, hypothesis-driven approach).
- Strong collaboration with engineering and data; you’ve shipped meaningful product work end-to-end.
- Comfort with product metrics, funnels, and analytics tools (or basic SQL).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in analytics / BI / data-heavy products or adjacent domains (finance, operations, reporting).
- Exposure to product-led growth (self-serve, trials, freemium, in-product upsell).
- Experience working with or around AI/ML-powered products.
Perks & Benefits:
- A remote-first working environment with the option to work from anywhere in EMEA or our brand-new offices in Tehnološki Park, Ljubljana.
- Flexible working schedule - We understand that everyone's time to be most productive differs. Therefore, in addition to pre-determined team meetings, you can organize your working time according to your preferences.
- A fast-paced working environment and a growing team
- Top mentorship and coaching, as well as courses, conferences, and educational workshops
- Prestigious clients
- Competitive salary
- Stock options
