The role:
We are looking for a Backend Developer – Spring Boot & Kubernetes for our office in VASS BRASOV, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Spring Boot Developer to join our team for an exciting OCR (Optical Character Recognition) project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development and a good understanding of DevOps practices, containerization with Kubernetes, and database management with MongoDB. Experience with Node-RED for low-code programming is a strong plus.
You will play a key role in building and deploying scalable, high-performance applications that process and analyze OCR data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot.
Integrate and manage MongoDB databases for data storage and retrieval.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain microservices in Kubernetes environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure are optimized.
Use Node-RED to implement visual flows and integrate systems where applicable.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance across the stack.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, data scientists, and project managers.
Requirements:
Proven experience in backend development with Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, etc.).
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Solid knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Node-RED or other flow-based programming tools.
Experience working on OCR or similar data processing projects is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Good communication skills in English.
