What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing Cisco Firewalls (ASA and Firepower), ensuring compliance with security policies and operational requirements.
  • Operating and maintaining IDEMIA firewalls, centrally managed by the Network Security team, while processing filtering rule requests from IT teams with validation from Security and Compliance.
  • Administering firewalls through a central console (FMC), handling configuration adjustments and security enhancements.
  • Creating, modifying, and deleting filtering rules based on ticket submissions, ensuring optimal network protection and functionality.
  • Applying system configurations to harden newly deployed firewalls, reinforcing security measures across infrastructure.
  • Configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure smooth network operations.
  • Monitoring network performance, identifying potential issues, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity.
  • Collaborating with systems engineers, project managers, and external vendors to integrate network components into broader infrastructure solutions.


What you'll bring along

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong foundation in networking principles, with hands-on experience managing enterprise-grade network equipment and protocols.
  • Proven ability to oversee complex network environments, preferably within infrastructure or construction-related projects.
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and network security best practices to ensure robust and secure network operations.
  • Mandatory knowledge of Cisco Firewall ASA, with practical experience in configuration and management.
  • Proficiency in networking tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Cisco IOS/NX-OS for monitoring and troubleshooting network performance.
  • Highly desirable certifications, including CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in networking and security principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing network challenges.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cloud networking solutions such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as SD-WAN technologies, is a plus.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
